There are about 20 parts to make this model. This is a test prototype for verifying design, shape and details of the 3D model. We will modify the 3D design with the help of this test model and then make a master for resin casting.
Two versions of the vehicle will be available in a single kit - a British version with sand channels and antenna and a Canadian version with a large storage box.
In the turret I put a metal British tank crew from Warlord Games, as you can see the figure fits the turret very well.

How hard would it be to scale this down to 1:100? It seems to me that it would be simply a software adjustment, although being a multi-part kit some of the parts might be too small to print effectively? I ask because I wargame much, much more at 15 mm than 28 mm and always like seeing new sources for models.

Hi Nick, it is just a click to rescale the model to 1/100. And you are right some of the fine parts may become too small after rescaling and hard to print, if they are thinner than 1mm. So if one needs to make a 1/100 model using a large scale model design, some redesign work is necessary.
DeleteHey neucraftmodels.
ReplyDeleteHow can I purchase this model ( 1/56 scale Otter Recce Car)? It looks amazing and I’m making this my first and leading vehicle for my Canadian Army for Bolt Action. Please respond to my email
