New 1/35 scale WWII German Soldiers from Qing Yi Miniatures are released!

We are releasing two 1/35 scale German soldier figures from Qing Yi Miniatures.

The two German soldiers are in mid-war uniforms and both are wearing ankle boots. They are in fighting poses, which makes them ideal for creating a combat scene. Future 1/35 figures from Qing Yi Miniatures will mostly follow the same design philosophy – “recreating dynamic combat scene”.

The scupltor is Qing Yi and the painter is Han Dong (Darren Han).

Both figures only have four parts each figure and assembly is very simple.

Qing Yi Miniatures, after releasing the 1/30 scale and 1/32 scale ranges of resin figures, is now going to release 1/35 scale military figures. The first two figures will be WWII German infantry soldiers. More 1/35 scale German figures and other subjects will be released in the near future.

Two new 1/35 scale resin figures released!

We have two more new resin figures in the 1/35 scale. An US Army lieutenant and a Red Army female officer. These two figures are inspired by a war-time photo showing an US Army lieutenant from the 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division having a friendly conversation with two Red Army female officers in Czechoslovakia, May 1945.

More information possibly about this meeting is as follows

"On 10 May 1045 patrols sent out from the 104th Infantry made contact with the 1st Battalion, 263d Regiment, 86th Russian Infantry Division, X Corps, 46th Russian Army, at Ceske-Budejovice, Czechoslovakia."

Open-box review of S-Model's new 1/72 Russian T-40S light tank kit # PS720199.

S-Model, after being quiet for the last a couple of months, released a very interesting small tank - Russian T-40S light tank. Here are a few pictures of whats inside the box and the instruction sheet. Details are clean and crisp as usual. The cut parts from the tree indicate that the T-40 amphibian tank will be released in the future.

S-Model also released some painted models using its plastic kits. Here are examples of the T-40S built and painted.
